One of the great things about living in Minnesota is the changing of the seasons. This year take some time this fall to enjoy some of the fantastic fall activities in the Twin Cities!
1. Go apple picking at any of the wonderful orchards in the state.
There are few things better than eating a freshly picked apple. Apple orchards are great for people of all ages. Not only can you get the many apple products they offer but usually there are other activities to do as well. Here are just some of our favorites:

Are you ready to scream? Every year Minnesota boasts about some of its scary attractions. If you like to get that, someone might be creeping up behind you, feeling these might be for you. Here are some of our favorites:

3. Take in the fall colors.
There are so many cute small towns in Minnesota where you can take in the fall colors from up in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area to Red Wing these places are great for a weekend getaway.
4. See if you can find your way through a corn maze.

5. Attend a football game.
It doesn’t matter if it is your high school team, a college near you, or a pick up football game at the park in your neighborhood, getting out in the fresh fall air is a great way to enjoy the season. Show your spirit and cheer on your team!
6. Take in a show at one of our many theaters.
We are lucky to have so many great theaters in Minnesota. Fall is the perfect time to get out and see your favorite show or one that you have never been to before. Try The Ordway, Chanhassen Dinner Theater, The Jungle Theater, or Guthrie.
7. Pick out your perfect pumpkin.
Fall means that it is time to pick out and decorate your pumpkin. There are many places in Minnesota that you can choose to make a day of fun at the pumpkin patch including Pine Haven farm in Wyoming, Minnesota.
8. Biking the trails.
A great way to see the fall color is to ride your bike on one of many trails in Minnesota. There is a bike trail in Brainerd that would be great to enjoy with your family one of the fall weekends this year. http://brainerd.com/falltours/
9. Zoo Boo

10. Getting prepared for the winter ahead!
Although, this may not seem like the most fun, preparing for winter can save you a lot of trouble in the winter months ahead. Have someone come out and check your furnace before the cold starts.
